Method one: remove the original hem guide, no longer need to change the yarn frequently

In production, some rapier loom hem guides have imperfections, and the volume of bobbin yarns that can be used on the guides is small, requiring frequent yarn changes. In order to solve the above problems, we removed the yarn guides on both sides, and transformed the existing waste-side yarn feeding tube holders on the square tube crossbeams to support the yarn feeding tube on both sides. A waste-side yarn feeding drum is installed on the outside and a skein-side yarn feeding drum is installed on the inside. The reamed bobbin yarn has a large capacity and can be replaced for more than half a year. After removing the original hemming guide, not only cleaning is easy to do, but also the phenomenon of yarn breakage and no locking of the hemmed yarn are well controlled.


Method two: Improve the waste edge cutting and improve the trimming performance of the loom

When using a rapier loom to produce small canvases, it was found that the cutting edges of the scissors could not meet the requirements of use. The main manifestations are: the strength of the scissors holder is insufficient and the chattering is obvious during use; the scissors blades are not durable and require frequent sharpening or even replacement; The edge separation is not good, and the fabric edge is torn. After field observation and research and analysis, we have adopted the following improvement measures.


First improve the scissors cam. The scissors cam is improved from the two aspects of the scissors cam contour curve and material. The original movable scissors blade transmission part is an eccentric cam, which inserts and cuts once. In order to improve the cutting effect, the protruding contour curve is improved to a figure-eight shape. The improved scissors cam realizes one weft insertion and two cuts, and the cutting frequency is doubled, which is conducive to cutting heavy fabric waste edges. The original scissors cam is glass fiber reinforced nylon injection molding, suitable for mass production. In order to enhance wear resistance and facilitate single-piece production, the material of the scissors cam was changed to 45 steel for heat treatment, which improved the wear resistance. The second is to change the material grade of the scissors blade. Through the above improvements, the performance of the cut waste edge is greatly improved, and the efficiency of the loom startup is greatly improved, which meets the customer's requirements for weaving use.

Method three: using a spring tension bobbin holder, the efficiency of the loom is significantly improved

In response to the above problems, the following improvements have been made: First, the waste edge yarn rolling equipment is eliminated. Cancel the weaving of the waste yarn tray, which can save labor. Secondly, the hemming yarn holder of the original equipment is removed, and a waste yarn and a hemming yarn package holder equipped with a washer spring tensioner are manufactured and installed. The capacity is 10 packages. Both the waste yarn and the selvage yarn are directly used in the pagoda bobbin. After adjusting by the tensioner, the warp yarn and heald are inserted. The quantity and yarn number of waste and selvage yarns can be flexibly changed and adjusted according to the variety. The tension of single waste yarn and selvage yarn can be flexibly adjusted at any time.
